Gwen Stefani has a new gig as a coach on The Voice, plus some new music in the pipeline (for hopefully later this year). And it turns out her husband, Gavin Rossdale, is also getting back into the swing of things, musically.

Stefani recently revealed that Rossdale would be by her side, advising contestants, on the upcoming season of The Voice. Now there’s the official announcement that Bush, Gavin’s band, will release their sixth studio album Man On The Run on October 21. It’s the quartet’s first album in three years, and only their second since 2001’s Golden State.

A press release notes that Bush recorded the album with Foo Fighters producer Nick Raskulinecz in Northridge, California. Lead single “The Only Way Out” is set to premiere on September 9.

One notable factor about Man On The Run is that it will arrive just ahead of the 20th anniversary of Bush’s multi-Platinum debut LP Sixteen Stone, which was released in December 1994.

Now, let’s take in this Bush classic from just before the days when Gwen and Gavin began dating:

And while we’re at it, we always had a soft spot for this lite jam from Rossdale’s 2008 solo album, too:
