One of the highlights of last night’s (August 26) final episode ever of Chelsea Lately — aside from seeing host Chelsea Handler nude in the shower with Ellen DeGeneres, of course — was watching Miley Cyrus cover Roy Orbison‘s aptly-titled classic “It’s Over.” The recent MTV VMAs Video Of The Year winner was every bit the class act in her red pants and white fringe jacket, doing Orbison justice by belting out the Top 10 hit from 1964 with her stunning vocal range on full display. Now this is the Miley we all love.

Later, in the show’s final minutes, Cyrus joined Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Alanis Morissette, Sammy Hagar, LeAnn Rimes, Avril Lavigne and a slew of others on stage for a riff on “We Are The World” titled “Goodbye To E!”, which sent Handler’s show off into the late night one last time.
