La Roux’s Next ‘Trouble In Paradise’ Single Might Be “Sexotheque”

La Roux‘s Trouble In Paradise may have slipped under the radar for the general public, but that doesn’t change the fact that Elly Jackson‘s long-awaited follow-up is a real summertime disco gem.

After serving up a corker of a lead single “Uptight Downtown,” Elly’s apparently going with one of the album’s highlights next: “Sexotheque,” a funky, endlessly catchy ode to a couple with two very different goals — one of which is waiting to be wed, while the other is sneaking out at night for some fun at the sexotheque.

Yesterday, the jam was added to the IGA Promotion Soundcloud — usually an early determiner of forthcoming singles from the label. I’m not betting man, but…oh I bet money, money, money I bet — it’s “Sexotheque”!
