Electric Youth Perform ‘Drive’ Soundtrack Hit “A Real Hero” Live On Camera For The First Time: Watch

Ryan Gosling noir thriller Drive is the type of movie that doesn’t leave your head for days (weeks, years…) once you see it, and a large part of the film’s draw is its addictive electro-pop soundtrack — in particular, College and Electric Youth‘s dreamy tune “A Real Hero.” Cut to three years later, and Electric Youth, a Canadian duo consisting of real-life couple Bronwyn Griffin and Austin Garrick, are releasing their debut LP Innerworld on September 30.

Ahead of that, the pair and their touring band recently shot a live video in a Toronto studio where they performed “A Real Hero” on camera for the very first time. NPR premiered the mesmerizing visual today, and you can watch it above.
