Calvin Harris, hitmaking dance producer, and John Newman, rising soul singer, have released yet another snippet of their collaboration “Blame” (available September 7).

While last month’s preview seemed to reveal the song’s intro, the new clip picks up right where that left off, with Newman’s distinctive vocals heard over a spare synth melody and chords kicking in to up the ante.

For Harris, “Blame” is the follow-up to his recent Top 10 hit “Summer,” while, the song arrives after Newman’s BRIT Awards-nominated hit “Love Me Again” and his collaborations with Rudimental (“Feel the Love” and “Not Giving In”).

The “Blame” video, directed by Emil Nava (Harris’ “Summer,” Jessie J‘s “Price Tag,” Ed Sheeran‘s “Lego House”) is set to premiere later this week (on September 4). For now, hear the third teaser of Harris’ and Newman’s “Blame” after the jump.
