Beliebers and Angels, rejoice: It’s really happening.

Back in June, a sound engineer posted a photo of Justin Bieber and Cody Simpson vibing in the studio together. But the collaboration was no secret: By the beginning of August, Simpson already teased one of their tracks together on his Instagram. And now, it looks like those studio sessions are being rolled out into a full record.

“It is a smack bang duets (album),” Simpson revealed to the Sydney Daily Telegraph over the weekend, confirming the long-awaited news. “Justin has been a good mate of mine for a while. It’s just us writing. He told me he felt like I’d figured myself out and have grown into what he knows I will be, so he was like, ‘I see you as that guitarist, singer-songwriter you’ve always wanted to be’. I play all the guitars on the album.”

Two international teen heartthrobs. One album. Is the world prepared?

Let us know what you think of the idea of an acoustic duets album between the two superstars and, as a reminder, listen to the song Cody teased below.
