Calvin Harris And John Newman’s “Blame”: Listen To The New Song In Full

Calvin Harris made it be known that his John Newman collaboration “Blame” was on the way three months ago, back in early June, and there have been several snippet-teases in recent weeks. But at long last, the full version of the song is here…and it’s pretty glorious!

The track starts off with a plucky synth refrain and Newman’s soulful, booming vocals. Things quickly get whipped into an out-and-out dance frenzy before swinging back into yet another grand showcase for John Newman’s forlorn crooning. The realm of dance music isn’t exactly new territory for the British singer, who featured on a couple Rudimental tracks last year (including the UK chart topper “Feel The Love”). For Harris, however, “Blame” somehow feels fuller and more rounded-out, structurally, than much of his other output. Call it a new era for the Scottish producer/DJ.

Lay all of “Blame” on yourself below.
