Betty Who’s “Runaways”: Listen To Her Fantastic New ‘Take Me When You Go’ Song

If you thought Betty Who‘s EP non-singles like “High Society,” “You’re In Love” and “Alone Again” were quite dreamy, wait till you give a listen to “Runaways,” an undeniable standout from the Australian singer’s upcoming debut LP Take Me When You Go (out October 7). Rolling Stone premiered the tune today, and accurately described it as a “M83-meets-Katy Perry dance tune.” We’d even go one step further and say there’s a dash of The Cars in there. (Ask your parents about them, kiddies — or better yet, do yourself a service and go pick up their greatest hits.)

Part of Betty Who’s charm is that whether her cuts end of being singles or not, they still come packing the same radio-worthy pop wallop. You can never accuse this girl of chucking out filler material. Case in point: “Runaways.” Give it a listen below.
