Madonna’s New Single Is Reportedly Almost Finished

The iconic #UnapologeticBitch has been teasing tons of alleged song titles and lyrics on her Instagram, taking selfies and hopping in the studio with seemingly dozens of talented acts, including Diplo, Avicii, Disclosure and Natalia Kills among many others. (We’ve been feverishly rounding up all the latest on what to expect from the upcoming LP!)

Now, it seems the first taste of the MDNA follow-up is nearly upon us.

During an interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 last night, this era’s most constant Madge collaborator Diplo spilled on the duo’s ongoing collaborations in the studio.

From PopJustice: “We did a bunch of stuff and I think she’s going to take about five or six of the songs we did. We wrapped up the first single last week, so we’re just fine-tuning the mix,” he casually offered.

While Billboard reports that the album isn’t due until 2015, there’s no reason why that lead single couldn’t drop, well…any day now. In a post-Beyoncé world, there’s just no telling what’s going to happen next.
