Jessie Ware Debuts Miguel-Penned ‘Tough Love’ Track, “Kind of…Sometimes…Maybe”: Listen
As the release of Jessie Ware‘s sophomore LP Tough Love (due out on October 21) comes creeping closer still with each passing day, the soulful British songstress has been treating fans with more and more delicate electronic offerings from the ever-promising collection.
She’s given us the artsy “Say You Love Me,” shared some “Share It All” and provided us with some (flowery) “Tough Love” over the past few weeks — and now, she’s linking up with Miguel for her latest offering.
“Kind of…Sometimes…Maybe,” which was produced by BenZel (Benny Blanco and Two Inch Punch), plays like a sweet afternoon daydream (or a nice addition to the bedroom playlist), set across gentle electronic ripples and sensuous beats. The song’s full of whispered purrs and soulful crooning, recalling some of Miguel’s own Kaleidoscope Dream. “Do I want you at all? Okay, I hate to admit…kind of…sometimes…maybe,” she coos.
