Meghan Trainor notches up her second week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with all-conquering feel-good anthem “All About That Bass”. The 20-year-old spearheads an all-female top 5 for the second week in row. (The last time the upper reaches of the singles chart were dominated by women for back-to-back weeks happened way back in 1999 when Cher held court with “Believe”).

As for the rest of the ladies? Taylor Swift has to settle for the runner’s-up slot for a second consecutive week with “Shake It Off”, while Nicki Minaj (and her “Anaconda”) stay put at number three. Rap rival Iggy Azalea climbs a spot with Rita Ora-assisted smash “Black Widow”, while Jessie J‘s girl power collaboration “Bang Bang” drops to number five. See the full top 10 after the jump.
