Jessie J is ready to heat things up again.
After kicking off her Sweet Talker campaign with a “Bang Bang” alongside Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj the powerhouse UK vocalist’s long-awaited follow up single “Burnin’ Up” has arrived — and it’s hot! Well, duh.
“I’m burnin’ up! Come put me out, come and put me out,” the songstress declares over and over agin above the song’s snappy, stomping Ricky Reed and Axident-produced beats.
Like “Bang Bang,” it’s all about those diva-sized pipes (and some major heavy breathing!), as Jessie struts through the fire and loses her mind. 2 Chainz comes in later for his own spitfire contribution. (“Burn down for what? Turn up!” is a stroke of genius, to be sure.) The song’s a catchy burst of energy for sure, and who knows? Perhaps even American radio will be set ablaze.
