Lady Gaga Teases Her Live Performance Of “Bang Bang”: Watch Now
Just after the release of Cheek To Cheek, her collaboration album with Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga has teased a new visual for the jazz LP. The two are gearing up for a live performance of the album for PBS’ “THIRTEEN’s Great Performances,” which will include Gaga’s rousing rendition of “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down).”
Made famous thanks to Cher‘s 1966 single (as well as Beyonce‘s recent take on it for the “On The Run Tour” promo), Lady Gaga put her own spin on the classic song in the 30-second teaser video. Dressed in a red-leather jumpsuit and donning a Cher-inspired wig, the singer stuns with her tender vocals.
Gaga debuted the teaser on Twitter, stating that she recorded the performance in one take!
SURPRISE: Here’s a preview of my live BANG BANG performance. Loved this so much we added it to the album on iTunes. Recorded live in 1 take!
