Lady Gaga’s Full “Bang Bang” Video: Watch Her Belt Out The Cher Classic Live At Lincoln Center
Following yesterday’s tease, Lady Gaga‘s full, live “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)” visual has arrived. If you’re not quite up on the tune, it was originally performed by none other than Cher in 1966 — hence Gaga’s “Turn Back Time”-esque wig — and has been subsequently covered in some form or other by the likes of Nancy Sinatra, Bon Jovi, Audio Bullys, Charlotte Church and David Guetta. Needless to say, the song is a classic, which made it ripe for Gaga to tackle a rendition for her and Tony Bennett‘s just-released LP of standards, Cheek To Cheek — albeit as a live bonus track, recorded (in one take!) at Lincoln Center.
Tony and Gaga have an upcoming PBS special airing October 24, during which the pair will be performing selections from Cheek To Cheek. “Bang Bang” serves as an appetizer for what’s to come from that. Get cocked and loaded by watching above.
