Tinashe Teams Up With Dev Hynes On “Bet”: Listen To The ‘Aquarius’ Single
With the release of Tinashe‘s debut album Aquarius just days away, the singer has dropped another track off the LP. Simply titled “Bet,” the slinky tune is a departure from the club-ready “2 On” that we were first introduced to. Tinashe’s commanding vocals are at the forefront, which are anchored by a hypnotic production filled with haunting echoes and sparkling synths. Featured artist Dev Hynes (of Blood Orange) sneaks in towards the end with an anguished guitar solo.
While the other cuts off the album feel too on trend, “Bet” is a much-welcomed return to the sultry R&B vibe that was found on Tinashe’s mixtapes. The singer has previously released slow jam “Feels Like Vegas” and the A$AP Rocky-assisted “Pretend.”
