Tony Bennett And Lady Gaga’s ‘Cheek To Cheek’ Barely Outsells Kenny Chesney, Tops Album Chart

The race for #1 on the Billboard 200 over the past week was a tight one, but in the end it was Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga who (barely) won it. The pair’s collaborative album of jazz duets, Cheek To Cheek, topped the main album chart after selling 131,000 copies, thus giving 88-year-old Bennett his second #1 LP (after 2011’s Duets II) and 28-year-old Gaga her third (following 2011’s Born This Way and 2013’s ARTPOP).

Just behind Cheek To Cheek is Kenny Chesney‘s 17th studio LP The Big Revival, at #2 (130,000). Giving both a run for their money was last week’s #1 album, Barbra Streisand‘s Partners, which slips to #3 after selling another 127,000 copies.

Head below to see where the rest of this week’s players wound up on the album chart.
