A$AP Rocky Disses Fashion Brands Been Trill And Hood By Air In “Multiply”: Watch

A$AP Rocky has a beef to settle with his tense new song “Multiply” – not with other rappers as once expected in hip-hop, but rising fashion brands.

Specifically, he calls out Been Trill and Hood by Air (HBA) in between annoyed assertions that he, who has name-checked 25 worthier brands in a song called “Fashion Killa,” is the true trendsetter: “Nah, I ain’t really into throwin’ shots, but these motherf**ckers better give me props.”

Been Trill, helmed by Kanye West‘s style adviser Virgil Abloh, has collaborated with Eminem and producer Mike WiLL Made It. HBA, by Shayne Oliver, has been worn by West, Rihanna and Ciara. A$AP Rocky’s beef with the latter is especially curious – last year, the Harlem rapper modeled pieces from its fall 2013 collection at its debut New York Fashion Week runway show.

Up top, watch A$AP Rocky roam with his friends through New York streets and subway stations in his new “Multiply” video. Keep a close eye out for appearances by featured rapper Juicy J and the late Pimp C, whose faces pop up on large TV screens as if they were Max Headroom.
