AlunaGeorge Make A Return With “Supernatural”: Listen To The New Single
AlunaGeorge have been very quiet all throughout 2014 (save for a synthy remix of Coldplay‘s “Magic” back in June) – but that all changed today! The London-based electronic duo just released a new single, titled “Supernatural,” which premiered on Annie Mac‘s BBC Radio 1 show.
The ominous lyrics (“Is this dead or it is alive?”) combined with the electro-R&B production keeps with the duo’s signature sound, as seen with songs like “Best Be Believing.” Lead singer Aluna Francis‘ breathy vocals sound very sultry, and the dark vocoder sound effects are definitely Daft Punk-worthy.
There’s no word of a follow-up album to 2013’s Body Music, but for now we have a smooth groove that is bound to hit the dance clubs. Take a listen to “Supernatural” below.
