David Guetta And Sam Martin’s “Dangerous”: Listen To The Surprisingly Good Single

Something happened along the way while David Guetta was making new single “Dangerous,” in that the song is actually not another terrible addition to the string of so-called EDM garbage currently clogging up the airwaves. It’s like Guetta finally got it into his noggin that, yes, EDM has run its course, stumbled off the track and fallen face-first into a ditch. (The lazily-titled genre, that is — not all actual electronic dance music.)

Anyway, here we are with “Dangerous,” which sounds like something lifted from the Drive soundtrack (so, think Kavinsky or the Chromatics or Electric Youth) mixed with a funky disco bass and the pipes of Sam Martin, who had previously teamed with Guetta for “Lovers On The Sun.” Overall, this wouldn’t be a bad thing to hear on the radio, which is something we probably haven’t said about a David Guetta song since “Titanium.”
