5 Seconds Of Summer pose for mugshots on the cover of new single “Good Girls”, so it’s not that surprising to learn that the video is set in a prison/juvenile detention center. I just wasn’t expecting the first trailer, which dropped today (October 7), to play like a mini-horror movie. Or the opening sequence of Orange Is The New Black on acid.
The Aussie rockers sure know how to switch things up. 5SOS hammed it up in their performance-based “She Looks So Perfect” video before taking a sweet, nostalgic approach to “Amnesia”. With its girls-behind-bars theme and creepy horror flair, “Good Girls” is set to be the band’s most ambitious offering yet. Check out a preview of the spooky clip up top.
