Kiesza & Mick Jenkin’s “Losin’ My Mind”: Listen To The ‘Sound Of A Woman’ Song

There’s just one week to go before the release of Kiesza‘s debut LP Sound Of A Woman, but that gives her yet another opportunity to pop a buzz track out there. This week we get “Losin’ My Mind,” which the Canadian singer has been performing live as of late. Like “Hideaway,” “Giant In My Heart,” “No Enemiesz” and “The Love,” this track distinctly channels the ’90s, though it skips full-on dance for an old-school hip hop vibe. (Dig that Mohawks “The Champ” sample!)

Twenty-three-year-old Chicaco MC Mick Jenkins, part of the Free Nation collective, adds some rhymes to “Losin’ My Mind,” a cut that ultimately plays like the direct descendent of material from Madonna‘s own gritty foray into house and hip-hop, Erotica.
