Jessie Ware‘s Tough Love just got a bit of midnight magic.

The UK soul singer’s sophomore record (released today in the UK) is full of excellently crafted lush melodies, but there’s one song that didn’t make the cut, called “12.” The late night gem was crafted alongside Rhye‘s Robin Hannibal last year but, for whatever reason, didn’t make the tracklisting of Ware’s latest LP. Luckily, she’s in the giving mood, because Jessie’s posted the song as a free download on her SoundCloud.

“I made 12 with Robin Hannibal last year at Red Bull Studios London. Loved him since hearing Quadron’s Average Fruit and although this track never made it onto ‘Tough Love’, it was a joy to work with Robin finally. This is a song for my Sam and I hope you like it, play it late and go kiss someone x,” she wrote on the song’s SoundCloud page. Listen to the track after the jump.

The chill groove is soft and slinky, accompanied by finger snaps and Sade-like timeless melodies. It’s a great addition to an already solid LP — make sure to snag it while you can.
