Taylor Shift Is Sharing A ‘1989’ Lyric Every Day: Read The First Lyric
Is it October 27 yet? No, we’re not quite out of the woods yet — but Taylor Swift is making the wait a little easier for her Swifties, in the form of a lyrical tease for the next two weeks.
After shaking her way up to #1 with “Shake It Off” and unveiling her shimmering new 1989 jam “Out Of The Woods” yesterday, the pop princess revealed the first new lyric from her forthcoming late ’80’s pop-inspired record.
“It’s a new soundtrack/I could dance to this beat…forevermore,” she penned in her journal (so Taylor), accompanied by a cute doodle of a starry city skyline (SO Taylor). Is that her new hometown, NYC? Most likely. We already know that Tay Tay loves a good sick beat — perhaps Track 1’s going to supply even more sickness? We’ll keep our eyes glued for Tay’s next journal entry.
