Miriam Bryant’s “Dragon” Video Doesn’t Actually Feature One (But Is Still Well Worth A Watch)

Miriam Bryant is one of those brilliant Scandinavian divas (there’s a flock of them) that have been threatening to break big for while now. The 23-year-old came close a couple of times — Zedd collaboration “Push Play” was, at one point, going to be the follow up to “Clarity” — but she might have more luck with heady electro-pop single “Dragon”.

The Swede dropped the video for her Game Of Thrones-evoking anthem today (October 15) but sadly there’s no dragon in sight. You see its shadow at the end but my dreams of seeing Miriam on the back of a flaming CGI beast were dashed. Oh well. There’s still a lot to love about the visual. For starters, the rising pop star runs through a field and looks really gorgeous. That’s enough, right?
