Are you ready to light-rock? Imagine Dragons‘ debut album Night Visions sold over 2 million copies in the US — a rare feat these days — and spawned multi-Platinum hits in the forms of “Radioactive” and “Demons.” Naturally the Vegas-based alt rock band are eager to keep the ball rolling, and so today we have “I Bet My Life,” the lead single off ID’s upcoming sophomore album.
With this one, gone is the explosive angst that fueled the band’s previous radio fare. And in its place is a lighter, more Mumford-meets-Phillip-Phillips vibe. (That sounds like a horrifying analogy, doesn’t it? Happy Halloween!) Call it a kinder, more cuddly Imagine Dragons, if you will?
