Demi Lovato Has Already Started Work On Her Next Album, Record Label Pegs 2015 Release Date

Here’s some great news to brighten your Monday. Demi Lovato has already started work on her fifth studio album! “She’s finishing up right now on the last leg of her touring for this year,” her manager told Billboard. “Then the plan is for her to go back into the studio and start the next creative process. She’s already done some songs, but certainly the majority of it will kick off next year.”

I guess this kills those rumors that the pop diva is planning to re-release her current LP with a couple of high-profile duets. Demi has been a particularly successful era for the 22-year-old. It produced three top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 (“Heart Attack”, “Neon Lights” and Cher Lloyd collaboration “Really Don’t Care”) and proved popular around the globe — charting in most major European markets.

“We’re really excited,” Disney Music Group present Ken Bunt told the music bible. “We’ve got a new album coming from her next year. We’re not talking about release dates yet. And she’s going to continue her world tour throughout next year.” It will be interesting to see how Demi’s next era fares in comparison to former Disney divas Selena Gomez and Zendaya, who both have new music due in 2015.
