Dr. Luke Is Now Suing Kesha’s Mom, Too

The ongoing Kesha–Dr. Luke legal battle just got even messier, if you can believe it.

If you remember, the whole ordeal began when Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke, alleging that the producer sexually and emotionally abused her for nearly a decade. Within the same day, the producer responded with a lawsuit of his own against Kesha, claiming that Kesha’s lawsuit was an act of defamation and extortion.

But the legal drama isn’t stopping there: According to a new report by TMZ last night, not only has Dr. Luke responded with the lawsuit against Kesha, but he’s going after Kesha’s mom, Pebe Sebert, as well. Read the full details after the jump.

In the lawsuit, filed today and obtained by TMZ, Luke claims Pebe Sebert wanted her daughter to break her contract with Luke, but realizing it was iron-clad, she fueled her daughter’s anger over the deal and got her to spread lies that he raped her in order to shame him into letting her out of the deal. Luke claims when he didn’t back down from the smear campaign Pebe tried Plan B — extorting him, making it clear she and Kesha would continue their campaign of terror until he released her.

He is also reportedly asking for more than $75,000 in compensatory and punitive charges. Yikes all around.
