Taylor Swift, a.k.a. the reigning Princess of Pop, has the number one album in the country — she sold 1.287 million copies of her fifth studio LP 1989. So what better way to celebrate than posting a video on Instagram?

The “Welcome To New York” starlet uploaded a clip of her rapping along to Kendrick Lamar‘s “Backseat Freestyle” (she was in the front seat, by the way), with the caption: “Industry experts predicted 1989 would sell 650k first week. You went and bought 1.287 million albums. AND IT’S GOT ME LIKE”

It turns out that K. Dot is also a fan of Taylor Swift! The rapper recently sung the chorus of “Shake It Off” during an interview with The Fader — and he actually performed it perfectly! Listen to the artist covering each other’s tunes after the jump.
