Sam Smith Performs “Like I Can” On ‘The X Factor UK’: Watch
Sam Smith stunned during his appearance on The X Factor UK last night (November 9), as he took the stage to perform the new single, “Like I Can.” Donning a sharp tuxedo, the UK crooner belted out the punchy uptempo effortlessly with some help from a soulful choir. This marked the first time Smith performed the song live on television.
“Like I Can” follows songs like “Stay With Me,” “I’m Not The Only One” and “Restart” — all from Smith’s debut LP In The Lonely Hour (released in June 2014). He’ll continue to promote the album during his upcoming North American arena tour, which kicks off on January 9.
