Shawn Mendes Performs “Something Big” On ‘Late Show With David Letterman’: Watch
“Something Big” is a pretty accurate way of describing what’s happening to Shawn Mendes‘ career at the moment: From Vine superstar to chart-topping pop star, the 16-year-old singer-songwriter has truly had a meteoric rise to mainstream fame.
The talented teen hit the stage on Late Show With David Letterman last night to belt out his catchy new single, where he flaunted his capable chops (and guitar skills) in front of a small army of background singers. He didn’t need ’em, though…Mendes could carry the uptempo tune just fine on his own. Letterman seemed to love it, too, coming out to shower the young singer with compliments at the very end. “Nothing but peppy! Delightful!” Clearly, this is only the beginning of something good.
