Salt-N-Pepa Are Now Making Insurance Commercials: Watch The Rap Icons Sing “Push It” To Random People

Rap legends Salt-N-Pepa haven’t troubled the Billboard Hot 100 since the late ’90s when they scored hit after hit with hip-hop/pop classics “Shoop”, “Let’s Talk About Sex” and their iconic En Vogue collaboration “Whatta Man”, but the trio (I’m counting Spinderella) remains active on the live circuit — regularly performing shows around the world. They are also getting money from corporate America. Take their amusing appearance in a new commercial for Geico Insurance.

The ladies belt out their signature song “Push It” to random people trying to move (ie. push) objects. Salt-N-Pepa help people open doors and press buttons in elevators. Oh, and they also encourage a man to mow his lawn. It’s kind of corny but the femcees look incredible and it’s all in good fun. Who wouldn’t want these divas inspiring you to carry out every day tasks? Watch the soon-to-be viral video after the jump.
