The holiday season in New York City isn’t official until the Rockefeller Center’s Christmas tree lighting takes place — and it occurred last night (December 3)! Along with the special ceremony, a handful of musicians stopped by to perform some yuletide classics.

Mariah Carey, a.k.a the queen of the holidays, celebrated the 20th anniversary of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by performing the tune for the energetic crowd. It was definitely not her best rendition, but she still sparkled in her cranberry-red gown as she sung the jolly song.

Other performers included Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett singing “Winter Wonderland,” Pentatonix‘s take on “Santa Clause Is Coming To Town,” Cyndi Lauper on “Home For The Holidays” and Prince Royce‘s rendition of “Jingle Bell Rock.” Watch Mariah Carey perform up top, and catch the rest after the jump!
