2015 Grammy Nominations: Beyonce, Sam Smith & Sia
The 2015 Grammy nominations have been revealed with Sam Smith and Beyonce as frontrunners.

Bown down, basics! Beyonce just broke another record. The “7/11” singer nabbed five Grammy nominations this morning (December 5) and could get a sixth when Album Of The Year contenders are announced later today. That moves her past Dolly Parton as the most Grammy-nominated female artist in history with a grand total of 51. (The country legend has 46). Queen Bey has converted 17 of those noms into wins, a ratio she will be hoping to improve this year.

So what did she get nominated for this time around? Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance (both for Jay Z-assisted club-banger “Drunk In Love”). She was also nominated in less prestigious categories like Best Surround Sound and Best Music Film. If that AOTY nod doesn’t eventuate, it’s hard not to feel like Bey has been snubbed when you consider the impact of her critically-acclaimed, mega-selling visual album on the music industry as a whole.

Was Beyonce robbed of Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year nominations? Have your say in the comments below.
