Charli XCX Performs “Boom Clap” And “Break The Rules” On ‘Saturday Night Live’: Watch
It’s Saturday night…sucker! And with her highly anticipated sophomore LP on the way this week, bad-ass babe Charli XCX hit the stage on Saturday Night Live this evening to perform two cuts from the upcoming collection. As always, the London-bred bombshell delivered two superb, hi-octane performances in her debut SNL appearance, delivering her Fault In Our Stars summer smash “Boom Clap,” followed by her rowdy Sucker banger, “Break The Rules.”
Dressed in a sexy silk ensemble, sparkly platform shoes and flanked by an all-female band (girl power!), the rising pop goddess delivered a spot-on rendition of her hit single, looking and sounding as confident as ever. Later on in the night, she returned to the stage in bell bottoms and a harness to perform her anti-school anthem, serving up tons of hip thrusts, hair tosses and wild yelps while belting out the tune. Get it, Charli!
