Demi Looks Fierce For ‘Allure’, Praises Kim Kardashian For Embracing Curves
Well damn, Demetria!
Demi Lovato is pulling all sorts of fierce poses in fabulously futuristic outfits for an upcoming fashion shoot for Allure.
“We wanted it to be super natural — show my skin, show my freckles,” the “Neon Lights” goddess explains in a behind-the-scenes clip from the shoot, going into detail about her skincare regimen. (If you’ll recall, she did recently launch her skincare line, Devonne by Demi.)
She also discusses what makes her feel sexy: Wearing no make-up, and showing off her ass…ets. “It’s my butt! I love my butt. Hopefully it stays that way,” she chuckles. She also unexpectedly throws Kim Kardashian some love for changing the conversation about beauty standards in popular culture: “Say whatever you want about her, but she has revolutionized what is accepted with curves nowadays,” Demi explains. That she most certainly has!
Further on, Demi also discusses the passion of her Lovatics, and her role in being an activist: “I can sing in front of a crowd all day, and it only means something to me if it means something to my audience. I’ve learned to use my voice through other platforms, like mental health awareness. Things like that are really so much more fulfilling than just singing, just acting…there’s so much more to life than that.”
