Welcome back, Reba McEntire! The country legend unveiled the cover of comeback single “Going Out Like That” on Instagram this morning (December 16) and it finds her looking more radiant than ever. “When you listen to thousands of songs trying to find just the right one to record, a really great song jumps out at you,” the 59-year-old wrote. “That’s exactly what ‘Going Out Like That’ did to me! it jumped out because it’s a great song with up-tempo sassyness!!!”

The enduring diva then revealed the song’s feminist angle. “The first time I heard it, a man was singing the demo,” Reba continued. “When I sang it coming from a female perspective, it became a woman’s power anthem! Sure hope you like it!” I’m sure we will. “Going Out Like That” drops January 6. It’s the first single from the hitmaker’s 27th studio album. Her last LP, All The Women I Am, was released in November 2010 and reached number seven on the Billboard 200. See her Instagram announcement after the jump.
