Sky Ferreira Premieres “Omanko” Video: Watch The Personal Clip
Sky Ferreira might have nicely tied together the remaining strings of her Night Time, My Time era with a set of tour dates on the West Coast back in November (along with premiering a new song called “Guardian” live!”), but she’s decided to give her fans just a little more from her debut album campaign.
Over the weekend, the “You’re Not The One” singer-songwriter unveiled the grainy-looking home video for album track “Omanko,” shot by her boyfriend, DIIV‘s Zachary Cole Smith, and it’s probably the closest thing to festive that we’re getting from the brooding songstress this holiday season. “Happy Holidays from Cole and Sky,” the video’s caption reads.
The intimate clip follows Sky both on tour and behind-the-scenes with her boyfriend, smiling and kissing in a mirror, jokingly fanning herself with money — even ice skating at one point. Considering the dark and moody visuals of the campaign, it’s nice to see her looking so happy in this very personal glimpse behind-the-scenes.
