Is Rihanna Performing At The Grammys? The Answer Is Yes According To Her Drummer!
Hold on to your wigs because it looks like Rihanna is about to get serious about R8! The diva is set to perform at the Grammys on February 8 — at least according to an Instagram comment her drummer made and promptly deleted. It’s thin, I know, but the timing makes sense. RiRi has been threatening to drop new music since she released an unnamed snippet in late November and what better way to kick off (or promote) the first major release of 2015 than by performing at the industry’s most prestigious event?
As for evidence, all we have is Rih’s drummer answering “yup yup” to a question about a potential appearance (see the exchange after the jump). The post was immediately deleted, however, and the musician’s account was set to private soon thereafter — so there could be some substance to it. On the other hand, he might have just been trolling. There’s also the possibility that Rihanna is simply performing with another artist. After all, we know how much the Grammys love a random collaboration!
