Guy Sebastian's "Battle Scars" Live
Guy Sebastian performed a sublime solo version of "Battle Scars" for us. Watch now.

Guy Sebastian reunites with Lupe Fiasco on the latest single from his Madness LP. The duo previously worked together on 2012 hit “Battle Scars,” which reached number one on the Billboard R&B chart, and “Linger” proves that the magic is still there. A slinky Matt Rad production, the deceptively catchy slow jam finds the Australian superstar coming to terms with the end of a relationship with a little help from his Grammy-winning friend.

The track is shaping up to be a big hit in Guy’s homeland and the just-released video will only help its cause. He emotes expertly in front of black-and-white projections, while Lupe (A.K.A. Azealia Banksnew sparring partner) makes a welcome cameo. It’s a lot more exciting than I just made it sound. Trust me! Watch the moody visual above and see an Instagram pic of the collaborators hanging out at a tennis match after the jump.
