Future Hit: Robin Schulz's "Prayer In C"
Robin Schulz's "Prayer In C" has topped the charts around the world. Next stop USA. Watch now.

Words can’t adequately describe the unique listening experience that is AronChupa‘s “I’m An Albatraoz.” The tale of a slutty mouse called Dilory set to cheesy euro-house beats and tinkling piano keys became a genuine phenomenon in continental Europe late last year (it reached the top 10 in Germany, Sweden and Denmark among other countries) and recently exploded in Australia and New Zealand — a sure sign that the brain-melting anthem is headed our way.

So who is responsible and why is it so damn popular? The first part is easy. “I’m An Albatraoz” is the handiwork of Swedish DJ Aron Ekberg. He produced the kooky floorfiller and even got his sister Nora Ekberg to sing the vocals. The second half of the question doesn’t have a simple answer. AronChupa’s global hit is certainly unlike anything else you’ll hear on radio, which is part of its appeal. The lyrics are laugh-out-loud funny (“Dilory was a mouse in a big brown house, she call herself a hoe”) and those cartoonish beats are undeniably catchy. Think of this as the guiltiest pleasure of 2015. Brace yourself and watch the video up top.
