Rock In Rio will get a little bit closer to home this spring, as the fest will be staged in the United States for the very first time. Rock In Rio USA is set to take place the weekends of May 8-9 and May 15-16 at the City Of Rock venue in Las Vegas. The first weekend will be focused on rock acts while the following weekend is all about pop.

Just added to the rock side are Foster The People, Bleachers, The Pretty Reckless and Hollywood Undead, while new additions for weekend number two are Sam Smith, Jessie J, Charli XCX, Tove Lo, MAGIC! and Mikky Ekko.

Previously announced performers include No Doubt, Metallica and Linkin Park on the rock side and Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars on the second, more pop-focused weekend.
