Bjork To Return With New Album ‘Vulnicura’ In March: See The Tracklist

The performers for the 5th annual Governors Ball Musical Festival in New York City have been revealed.

All hail the Icelandic Queen! Björk is back.

Four years since her 2011 record Biophilia, the avant-garde artist is returning this March with her ninth studio record called Vulnicura, which she casually announced out of nowhere in a handwritten letter via her social media channels last night.

“Ladies and gentlemen! I am very proud of announce my new album is coming out in March. It is called Vulnicura. The songs are called “Stonemiller,” “Lionsong,” “History Of Touches,” “Black Lake,” “Family,” “Notget,” “Atom Dance,” “Mouth Mantra” and “Quicksand.” I do hope you will enjoy it! Warmthness, Björk.”

According to the Facebook post, 2 of the songs were co-written with Arca (FKA twigs, Kanye West) one with John Flynn, with production by Arca, Björk and British electronic producer The Haxan Cloak.

Along with the new album, Björk has recently announced as a headliner for the upcoming NYC Governors Ball Music Festival this summer.
