Smash fans, you’re in luck: The show ain’t over just yet! The cancelled NBC series will soon be given new life on Broadway — and the original cast of the TV series will be playing the leading roles!

For one night only, the cast will be staging the show’s fictional musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, Bombshell, on June 8 as a benefit for the Actors Fund. And yes, all of the original actors from the television series, including Katharine McPhee, Meghan Hilty and Debra Messing, will be involved in the production.

In an interview with Zap2it, McPhee confirmed the cast’s return while on the set of her new show, Scorpion. “It’s so cool. I’m going to be there — me and Megan — everyone — Debra, Anjelica. It’s going to be so fun. That was such a great, really fun — another really special job.” The staging will reportedly include 22 songs according to Playbill, as well as choreography from the show’s choreographer, Joshua Bergasse.
