Róisín Murphy Teases Details Of New Album
The Irish avant-garde pop songstress just provided a teensy hint of what's to come on Instagram this week.

Although she’s given us an assortment of left-of-center club collaborations and even an Italian language disco EP in the interim, it’s still been just about eight years (!) since the release of Róisín Murphy‘s last studio album, Overpowered. She hasn’t made the wait even easier in the past few months, teasing that her new album was “like nothing you’ve ever heard before” back in August last year.

But today on Facebook, the “Let Me Know” songstress finally declared: “I’m back.”

“Album coming. Sign up here for first dibs on tickets for my first shows with the full live band,” she wrote on the post, accompanied by a photo of her new logo on a bus stop billboard. Her official website has also been replaced by the logo and a link to a mailing list sign-up, which promises limited edition releases, free tracks and early bird specials on tickets for upcoming shows.
