Sweden is a huge mecca for talented pop artists, and the latest act to emerge from the country is Tove Styrke (not to be confused with fellow Swede Tove Lo!). The 22-year-old singer is ready to take on the U.S. market with her new single, “Ego” — the first single from her debut studio LP, Kiddo. Fun fact: the album titled is inspired by Kill Bill character Beatrix Kiddo!

The electric mid-tempo kicks off with tribal-inspired percussion, and then swoops into lush synths over Styrke’s delicate vocals once the chorus begins. Look out for Kiddo‘s release this Spring via RCA, and take a listen to “Ego” after the jump!
