COIN's Cover Of "Cecilia"
Up-and-comers COIN cover a Simon & Garfunkel classic.

Back in November 2013, Idolator premiered COIN’s cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s 1970 hit “Cecilia.” Since then, the synth-y pop-rock quartet have steadily been working on their self-titled debut LP with producer Jay Joyce, a current Grammy nominee, and it’s due out in June via StarTime International.

Ahead of their LP’s release, COIN are heading out on the road for a string of six tour dates beginning this week. Today Idolator is premiering the quartet’s brand new single “Run” to coincide with their live jaunt. Give it a listen below!

COIN vocalist Chase Lawrence explains “Run” to Idolator this way: “‘Run’ is the anthem of every zealous twentysomething. To those who grew up on unwavering optimism or those who choose to live in an inflated reality, this song is about dealing with the possibility that your dream may just be naïveté. But even then, it’s still worth chasing.”
