Rih's "FourFiveSeconds": Review Revue
See what the critics had to say about Rihanna's star-studded new collaboration "FourFiveSeconds."

Rihanna and Kanye West and Paul McCartney‘s (that’s the official billing) “FourFiveSeconds” had a blockbuster first day on pop radio. The star-studded collaboration, which arrived with no forewarning on Saturday (January 24), has already been played 1308 times for an audience impression of 11.226 million — making it the 35th most played song on the format. Expect the looming smash to climb much, much higher by the end of the week.

It’s a good sign for RiRi’s polarizing new single, which left much of the Navy ready to jump ship. The stripped-back duet — Sir. Paul accompanies Rihanna and Yeezy on piano — is a huge change of pace for the queen of club-bangers, but radio obviously loves it and the faithful are still prepared to hand over their coins. “FourFiveSeconds” is already number two on the iTunes download chart, blocked only by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars‘ enduring smash “Uptown Funk.” Welcome back.
