Missy Elliott Reported To Join Katy Perry At Super Bowl Halftime Show
Can our generation not keep secrets anymore? During her Super Bowl press conference yesterday (January 29), Katy Perry hinted at an “old school” female act who will join her during the halftime show. “When you hear the first ring of the chord, I think jaws will drop and faces will melt,” she said. Well, now the name has been revealed! According to the Associated Press, Missy Elliott is reported to make an appearance on the big stage.
The entertainer plans to perform her major 2002 hit, “Work It.” No word if Perry will join for a special verse or if they will whip out their 2011 “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” remix. As previously reported, rock star Lenny Kravitz is also set to perform alongside Perry. All will be revealed this Sunday (February 1), when the Super Bowl XLIX kicks off in Phoenix, AZ!
