Carrie Underwood’s “Waiting All Day For A Super Bowl Fight”: Listen To Her Football Anthem
Love football? Yes, no? Maybe? Okay, well…love Carrie Underwood? Thought so.
The country-pop diva — who just announced her upcoming single, “Little Toy Guns,” earlier this week — was tasked with the highly coveted responsibility of recording this year’s Super Bowl XLIX anthem, “Waiting All Day For A Football Fight.” (The song is a slight variation on Underwood’s “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night,” which has been going strong for some time now for Sunday football fans.)
This time around, Carrie calls out the two warring teams on the tune — that’s the Patriots and the Seahawks, casual sports fans! — and supplies her usual brand of fiery, powerhouse vocals to the country-rock inflected production.
