Was it just us, or did Katy Perry‘s 2015 Super Bowl halftime show seem to explode like a firework (hey-ooooo!) and zip by in the blink of an eye? Gotta hand it to our favorite California Gurl — she deserves props for wrangling not-so-obvious guest performers Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott…because for a brief moment, Lenny stole the show with his sexy, fine, leather-clad, buff, amazing rock star bravado, and then Missy reminded the world that, yes, we NEED this Supa Dupa Fly hip-pop legend badly in 2015.
Katy tore through hit after hit during her football-fueled medley: “Roar,” “Dark Horse,” “California Gurls”… um…a few others… Well, okay — our minds are still slush from Missy’s flawless hijacking of the whole shebang to remember much else. But it all ended with “Firework” and Katy flying through the air!
